BIHAR BHAVAN BANGALORE: Shri Siddharth Sanskritik Parishad ® is a socio-cultural organization of the Bihari diaspora functioning from Bangalore. The organization consists of a cross section of society from a common man to eminently respectable personalities of the nation. It functions from ‘symbol of secularism’, Bihar Bhavan whose foundation stone was laid by noted philanthropist Janab Barkatulla Saheb and inaugurated by the then Union Industries Minister Smt. Krishna Shahi. For the last four decades, the Bihari diaspora has been organizing “SARVAJANIK DASHAHARA MAHOTSAV” during Navaratri. Incidentally it was Janab Barkatullah Saheb who was instrumental in the Bihari diaspora’s first Dashahara in 1979, when he graciously gave his factory premises on Borebank Road in Cantonment area for the 10 day event. In fact, the Bihari diaspora owes this annual event to the initiatives taken by Janab Barkatullah Saheb.
